Jamie Carragher has questioned Darwin Nunez’s long-term future at Liverpool after his side’s 3-3 draw at Newcastle on Wednesday.

Nunez started the game at St James’ Park for the sixth time in 13 Premier League starts,
but the Uruguayan has scored just three goals in 17 appearances in all competitions this season, including that against Newcastle.
“We can’t tell what he’s thinking. Defenders have the same idea. Nobody ever says that to a good player,” Carragher said. “
He’s worth £63m with add-ons, there’s no way he’s going to be used.”
Arsenal legend Ian Wright chimed in. “I don’t care, I just think he’s worth £85m anyway. I think we’ll see more of him at that price. And the future is no different than it is now.
“I’m not sure he’ll be here next season. I think Liverpool will let him go,” Carragher added,
while Manchester United legend Gary Neville questioned whether Nunez was better than Liverpool fans’ hero Divock Origi.
“He’s better than Origi,” Carragher replied to ufabet http://ufabet999.app.
“But I think Origi scores more goals than him,” Wright agreed, before Neville added: “I think so too.”
Nunez missed a golden chance to put Liverpool ahead at 1-1 when Cody Gakpo headed the Uruguayan wide of the goal.
“How did he miss that?” Wright added, before Neville joked: “A £95m player. “
I can’t believe it. Gakpo thought the same when he gave it to me,” Carragher said.
